The initial 15-minute phone consultation gives us a clear understanding of your unique needs and goals. This helps us customize our home safety assessment and provide recommendations that ensure the best solutions for you and your loved ones.

Our home safety assessment will identify barriers to independence and fall hazards, recommending modifications that support aging-in-place. These thoughtful changes help create a safer and more accessible living environment for you and your loved ones.

If you'd prefer to focus on specific rooms, like the bathroom or bedroom, we offer single-room assessments. We'll identify safety concerns and recommend effective ways to improve accessibility and reduce the risk of falls.

Our Custom Home Assessments address unique spaces like basements, additions, studios, ADUs, and larger properties, providing tailored recommendations to enhance safety, accessibility, and functionality.

Our Remodel Upgrade offers detailed, room-by-room guidance on structural modifications and accessibility improvements tailored to your needs, helping you work effectively with contractors to create a safer, more functional home.

Our follow-up phone call ensures your satisfaction with the completed home modifications and adaptations. This brief check-in allows us to review your progress, address any additional questions, and gather valuable feedback on your experience.

What is a home safety assessment?

A home safety assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of your living space conducted by a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist. It identifies potential hazards and recommends necessary adjustments or modifications to enhance safety and accessibility for aging in place.

How can home modifications help me?

Home modifications can greatly enhance safety and accessibility in your living space. Whether it's installing grab bars, setting up a shower chair, adding hand railings, or using threshold ramps, these adaptations are tailored to meet your specific needs. Structural changes may also be recommended to further improve safety and accessibility. These modifications reduce the risk of falls and significantly enhance your quality of life by ensuring your home environment is safe and accommodating.

What types of durable medical equipment do you recommend?

In addition to environmental and structural changes, we also recommend a variety of equipment tailored to your specific needs. Common recommendations include grab bars, toilet safety rails, shower chairs, bed rails, ramps, stair lifts, and other useful equipment designed to support aging-in-place. Our consultation service provides personalized guidance on selecting and installing this equipment to support your independence and safety.
